Armadillo Enterprises is a premier manufacturer and distributor of fine musical instruments in the United States. Located in sunny Tampa, FL, Armadillo serves hundreds of music stores throughout the country, from small operations to national chains, and does so with a strong belief in individual customer service. Armadillo is home to Dean Guitars, Luna Guitars, and ddrum, the fastest growing guitar and drum brands in the world.

Currently in our 14th year of operation, Armadillo's home is a 110,000 square foot facility in the heart of Tampa's distribution district. Armadillo's commitment to customized client service as well as the needs of musicians is the driving force behind our constant growth and success.

Opening our doors in 1994, Armadillo began as a manufacturer of plywood flight cases. When demand for those cases waned, Armadillo Case Co. became Armadillo Enterprises and began acquiring brands to distribute in the United States and around the world. In 1997 the Dean Guitar company was purchased by CEO Elliott Rubinson, who returned the brand to its legendary status with new models and an aggressive marketing strategy.

Today, Dean is the last stop for the world's best musicians, many of whom have created timeless Signature lines with us.

In 2005, Armadillo expanded its holdings. The ddrum brand was purchased and transformed into an acoustic drum line that emphasizes pro features at consumer prices. Luna Guitars was born in 2005 also, a guitar line that merges functionality with art, and quality with affordability.

Over the years, Armadillo has also successfully marketed and distributed many foreign-made musical instrument lines, including Nord and Oberheim keyboards, and Red Sound DJ products. We are constantly looking for major new brands to market in the United States, and welcome new partnership opportunities.
